Beauty: What type of Foundation Suits Me?

There are a variety of cosmetic products including foundations, meant to suit everyone's complexion. People have different skin types so different foundations have been developed in order to suite and benefit each type.

Foundation is a marvelous cosmetic product because it can help our skin look flawless, without any imperfections. The only difficult thing about finding the right foundation is finding a color that matches. If the shade of the foundation is slightly different than the color of the natural skin color, the results could be far from magnificent, they could actually be disastrous.
There are several brands which produce several types of foundation in multiple shades to suite every kind of complexions. You can find foundation under two forms, liquid or cream, depending on your preference.

Here are some tips to help you choose the right foundation:

Find out your skin type. Foundations are usually manufactured to match certain skin types. For example if you have an oily complexion you will need to buy an oil free foundation because your skin doesn't need more oil that it already has. Try using Krayolan TV Paint Stick or Naturactor Foundation if you have an oily skin. These two foundations are a cream type foundation that suits oily skin. Based on my experience (i have an oily skin), cream type foundation works best on me. They cover all the imperfections and last longer. After applying the foundation you might have to finish the look with translucent powder for a matte looking skin. If you have a dry skin, it's better if you use the liquid foundation.

Decide on what your foundation should do for your complexion. You can choose from foundations which give a light or a heavy look, a silky, matte or illuminating finish. For normal daily makeup, you can use two way foundation. It's light, easy, and it covers imperfections (unless you have a lot of active breakouts)  

Test your favorite foundation to find the right shade for you on the back of your hand because that is where the skin color is most similar to the facial skin color. Or you can try it on your jawline.  

Make sure there is plenty of light in the area where you test the foundation to make sure that the shade is the correct one for you. Ask your friend or the sales person if you need help finding the right shade for you.

Make sure the foundation blends into your skin well, that way you will know it will penetrate your skin and not remain on the surface

Try several brands before you finally decide for one because not all brands produce the same type of foundations. Some might have ingredients which might work better for you than others. To me, foundation is really subjective. Some foundation or brands might work really well on others but they might not work at all to your skin. Well, you know your skin the best, so it is your own choice to choose which foundation works well on you.

After you purchased the best foundation for you make sure you apply it on your face in front of a large mirror where there is plenty of natural light to ensure best coverage. If the foundation is right for you, your skin will look soft, silky and flawless.

It's Our 5th Anniversary Today!!

...Alhamdulillah...

Tak sangka sekejap je dah 5 tahun usia perkahwinan kami.

Mula-mula plan nak celebrate kat Concorde Hotel Shah Alam, but then tukar plan and hubby decided nak bawak saya makan kat Serai@Empire.

Hubby order Mediterranean Rice (forgot the actual name for this menu) :P dan saya order Smoked Salmon Spaghetti. For dessert, kami order cake of the day: Pavlova. In conclusion, everything is super marvelous!! Wajib datang lagi kalau ada rezeki :)

Selalu kalau datang Empire Subang, memang ada satu reason je, Chilis. Tapi sekarang dah ada dua reasons ;)

Thanks encik hubby sebab bawak saya dengan Husna makan-makan hari ni... lain kali bawak la lagi!!!

Tu je cara kami celebrate anniversary... with food!! Hubby faham sangat yang saya memang suka makan. Kalau boleh semua makanan nak try. Nasib baik badan tak cepat naik... kalau tidak... cepat-cepat kena daftar kat slimming center :P

Sleep Like an Angle

Rasa tenang sangat kan bila tengok baby tidur? Memang betul la orang kata, kalau tengah penat atau marah, tengok wajah anak-anak, peluk dan cium mereka, sure hilang rasa penat dan marah tu.

Tapi macam mana la perasaan orang yang buang anak tu kan? Mungkin Allah dah hilangkan perasaan belas kasihan mereka. Sanggup tinggalkan baby tu sorang-sorang dalam sejuk, gelap, dengan bahaya kena makan dengan anjing lagi... kalau kita kena tinggal macam tu pun kita takut... inikan lagi baby yang tak tau apa-apa pun tu... Ya Allah, apa nak jadi dengan manusia zaman sekarang?

Simple Intro

Hi... dah lama sangat teringin nak buat blog khas untuk cerita pasal kehidupan seharian, anak-anak, dan macam-macam lagi. At last, hari ni terzahir jugak angan-angan tu. Bukan apa, at least bila dah tulis semuanya dalam blog ni adalah reference untuk masa yang akan datang.

Empunya diri bernama Huzaimah Ahmad, tahun 2010 ni, umur dah 28 tahun. Dah berkahwin selama empat tahun dan sudah mempunyai dua orang anak perempuan. Suami bernama Abdullah Faiz Mohamad, orangnya penyabar, loving, baik hati. Anak yang pertama, Nur Afrina Husna namanya. Yang kedua namanya Nur Amanina Najihah.

Erm.. maybe tu jer nak cerita untuk first entry ni. Kalau nak kenal lagi, boleh baca entry-entry yang akan datang. Bye!
